The Was - 13.01.2021
A long time ago,
when khagan Yermak ruled the land,
a long time ago,
when furry elephants still walked the southern marshlands,
a long time ago,
there was a house.
In this house,
in this ancient house,
which stood on the highest peak in the Holy Mountains,
in this house
there was a boy,
as of then unaware of himself,
all alone.
The boy's name was, as of then, undefined.
His attention, as of then, undivided,
as he thought of nothing.
One day, quite suddenly,
something caught his attention.
A crow flew right into his room,
shattering the window.
A large piece of glass got stuck in the boy's leg.
The boy, in great pain, uttered his first thought,
"Ouch".
The crow, hearing his thought, got up, and took the shard out of his leg.
It looked into his eyes and uttered a word.
"Blurred."
The boy, still bleeding from his leg, then uttered his first word.
"What?"
The crow nodded and flew away through the broken window.
The boy, confused, started thinking of what to do.
As he had never been in a situation like this, he screamed for help.
After a moment of silence, the crow came back, holding a piece of cloth with its beak.
The crow put the piece of cloth on the boy's leg and told him to hold it in place.
The crow then waddled and jumped up to the broken window and took a sizeable piece of glass.
It showed it to the boy, holding it with its talons.
The crow then said:
"You are blurred".
The boy, seeing nothing but a smudge instead of his reflection, touched his face.
Seeing that the smudge changed when he touched his face, he started modeling it.
After a few minutes of work, the boy looked at his new reflection.
It was a face of a mature man, with a long beard and short-cut hair.
The boy then started running his finger through his face, drawing strange shapes and symbols.
After a few minutes of work, the boy looked at his new reflection.
It was a face covered with text describing stories that the boy came up with.
The boy, still unsatisfied, took a bucket of water, spilled it over his face, and started anew.
After a few minutes of work, the boy looked at his new reflection.
It was a face of a crow.
The boy who was now a crow, looked at his saviour and told him:
"I am blurred."
The two of them flew out through the broken window.
